HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH
In 2011, I produced my first theatre show, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Mexican Tour. The show is a rock musical and was on Broadway shortly after we did these performances. The play by John Cameron Mitchell is the battle of a transgender hero who loves glam rock; I had seen the play in NYC in the early 2000s, and was inspired by it immensely. We had a two-year run and won the San Miguel Best of Theatre Award for 2011. We also had a tour of Guanajuato for the Guanajuato International Film Festival. We sold out 9 out of our 11 shows. I was the Producer, Art Director, and Design Director.
